Beeston and Chilwell for Integrated Transport is a community group campaigning for the development of the best possible tram system for Beeston & Chilwell.

We believe the tram will enchance residents' quality of life, bring benefit to businesses and their employees, improve the local environment and ensure the future prosperity of the area.

On March 8 2004 Alistair Darling opened phase 1 of Nottingham Express Transit between Nottingham and Hucknall. This has since proved to be amazingly successful carrying 1.2m passengers above forecast in the first year.
